India, 2021:Mi India, the country’s number 1 smart TV and smartphone brand, today upgraded its smart TV portfolio with the introduction of the Mi TV 5X series, the successor to the popular Mi TV 4X series. With a fresh look and premium metal bezel-less design, Mi TV 5X Series comes in 3 sizes 43”, 50”, and 55” tailored to provide a personalised cinematic experience as per your surroundings.

 

Mi TV 5X Series brings a host of new features and advanced technology for the best personalised cinematic experience. Featuring a premium and sturdy metal design, the TV comes with 96.6% screen to body ratio, offering a truly bezel-less display. 

 

Equipped with a 4K display panel that boasts 3840 x 2160p resolution, the TVs supports all popular HDR Technologies such as Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, HDR10. Comprising of three variants, the series debuts with an enhanced Xiaomi’s Proprietary display technology - Vivid Picture Engine 2 with Adaptive Brightness. With an embedded Photo-electric sensor, the TVs automatically adjust the backlight adapting to the room lighting conditions. Ensuring that each and every detail on the screen comes to life, the TV boasts a “Billion Colour View”, covering 94% of the DCI-P3 standard. 

 

Mi TV 5X series comes with the latest Patchwall 4, which is lighter, faster and features an improved design giving users a more intuitive experience. It is also the first Smart TV to come with IMDb ratings deeply integrated. The native availability of IMDb’s wide database of information on films, shows and streaming content online makes the process of choosing content to view seamless, with details available straight off the PatchWallhomescreen. PacthWall 4 also boasts of some new improvements in content curation specifically with respect to language with over 15 languages to choose from across 30+ partners. Some of the latest partnerships include Chaupal (which debuts with PatchWall in India) and Lionsgate Play. The new update also brings in 75+ free live channels which can be directly accessed from PatchWall.

 

Mi TV 5X series offers massive category-leading 40W stereo speaker setup that comes with support for Dolby Atmos for a fulfilling theater-like experience. This further comes with built-in far field mics that allow users to smartly access and operate the TV with a simple voice command powered by Google Assistant. Making it future ready, Mi TV 5X series comes with 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of storage, coupled with all the latest connectivity features such as eARC, ALLM via the three HDMI 2.1 ports.
