SBI Hybrid Funds AUM crosses Rs 80,000 crore

SBI Mutual Fund is the House of Hybrid Funds. With a range of hybrid schemes across risk return profiles, the company prides itself on the fact that it can offer different Hybrid funds catering to diverse investor needs. The fund house overall AUM in the Hybrid Funds category recorded a growth of 101 % over the last one year and stands at Rs 81,834 as on 30th Nov 2021. Its recently launched SBI Balanced Advantage Fund has crossed over Rs 22,000 crores in assets under management. SBI Equity Hybrid Fund which is the industry’s largest equity oriented actively managed fund is approaching close to Rs 50,000 crore in AUM on the back of increased flows, robust increase in the SIP book and focus on digital onboarding of customers. The SBI Debt Hybrid Fund is also the largest fund in its category.

SBI Mutual Fund Hybrid funds have a mix of different asset classes like equity, debt, and gold; to provide better risk-adjusted returns depending on the need and risk profile. Conservative Hybrid funds invest higher portion of the portfolio in fixed income securities (up to 25%) offering stability and a small part of the portfolio in equities that can offer capital appreciation opportunities. Aggressive hybrid funds on the other hand have higher allocation to equities (up to 80%) and a small portion of the portfolio is invested in fixed income securities.

 

Dynamic asset allocation funds like the SBI Balanced Advantage Fund, tend to adjust their equity (including derivates) and debt allocation depending on in-house parameters in order to capitalise on potential gains and reduce volatility during market movements.

 

SBI Mutual Fund has SBI Balanced Advantage Fund, SBI Equity Hybrid Fund, SBI Debt Hybrid Fund, SBI Equity Savings fund, SBI Multi Asset Allocation Fund and SBI Arbitrage Opportunities Fund as its Hybrid Fund offerings.
