Narayan Seva Sansthan Organizes First-Ever Artificial Limb Camp for Differently-abled Individuals in Visakhapatnam on April 7th

 

     

Visakhapatnam : Narayan Seva Sansthan, a renowned and nationally awarded NGO from Udaipur, Rajasthan, will be organizing a grand free camp for the welfare of differently-abled individuals for the first time in Andhra Pradesh. The event will take place on April 7th at the Vishwanath Convention, Port Stadium, Kalavani Auditorium premises in Visakhapatnam.           
Trustee and Director of the Sansthan, Devendra Chaubisa, disclosed that those who have become physically disabled due to accidents or other illnesses, losing their limbs, are committedly served by the Sansthan to alleviate their sorrowful lives. Inspired by the vision of Padma Shri awardee and founder Kailash Manav Ji, Sansthan has been serving in the field of humanity and disability for the past 39 years. With the determination to aid the differently-abled individuals of Andhra Pradesh, a large-scale free disability correction operation selection and Narayan Artificial Limb Management Camp will be conducted at the Vishwanath Convention - Port Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, April 7, from 8 am to 5 pm. This initiative falls under the Sansthan's 'Kuan Pyaase Ke Paas' (Well Near the Thirsty) plan, with this being the 1011th camp in the state of Andhra Pradesh.     
Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, the media and public relations officer of the Sansthan, stated during the press conference that this free camp by Narayan Seva Sansthan is exceptional. In this camp, the experienced and specialized team of orthotists and prosthetic doctors from the Sansthan will assess the Differently-abled patients. The team will conduct meticulous casting for lightweight and durable artificial limbs with high quality, and measurements will be taken for the limb. Approximately a month later, as per their measurement, Sansthan will organize a free fitment camp for these individuals, distributing modular artificial limbs.          
Gaur mentioned that Sansthan has extended invitations to esteemed personalities of Visakhapatnam and ministers of the Andhra Pradesh government for this camp. Various local organizations such Seva Bharti (RSS), Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Vipra Foundation, Gujarati Society, Marwari Society, Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Society, Khandal Vipra Samaj, Rajasthan Cultural Forum, Kachchh Kadva Patidar Samaj, Marwari Youth Forum, Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Society, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Agarwal Mahasabha, Andhra Pradesh Pradeshik Marwari Sammelan (APPMS), Akhil Bharatiya Jain Samaj Organization, Mahavir International, Udiya (Utkal) Society, Gayatri Parivar, along with more than 20 other societies and organizations, have joined the Narayan Seva Sansthan's camp as voluntary contributors. Through their assistance, the camp aims to empower differently-abled individuals. During the conference, Hemant Meghwal and Jagdish Meghwal, officers of the institution and coordinators for public outreach, unveiled the camp poster.              
Sansthan Trustee Chaubisa, in an appeal to individuals with disabilities to make use of the camp's benefits, emphasized that those interested in benefiting from this camp should bring their Aadhaar card, disability certificate, and two photographs depicting their disability. He also assured that complimentary meals will be provided to patients at the campsite. 

Since 1985, Narayan Seva Sansthan has been tirelessly serving the humanity with the spirit of Nar Seva-Narayan Seva. Sansthan Founder- Chairman, Kailash Manav, has been honored with the Padma Shri award by the President of India for his contributions to humanitarian service. Under the leadership of President Prashant Agarwal, Sansthan has empowered millions of differently-abled individuals both mentally and physically, and economically through medical, educational, skill development, and sports academies. In the year 2023, Prashant Agarwal was honored with the Presidential Award for his remarkable contributions. Sansthan has fitted more than 41,200 artificial limbs so far. It will now embark on a significant endeavor to provide free artificial limbs to the differently-abled individuals of Andhra Pradesh, aiming to reignite their stalled lives on a grand scale.
