350 differently-abled people will get Narayan Limb and Calipers

Visakhapatnam, July 04. Narayan Seva Sansthan of Udaipur, known for its service

to Divyangs and humanity in the country and abroad, will organize a huge camp

for free Narayan Limb and Calipers Fitting for the Divyangs of Andhra Pradesh in

Visakhapatnam on Sunday, July 7. This camp will take place between 8:00 am to

6:00 pm at Vishwanad Convention, Port Stadium, Kalavani Auditorium premises.

Providing information in a press conference happened on Thursday, Sansthan’s

Media and Public Relations Director Bhagwan Prasad Gaur said that the Sansthan

is working to benefit the differently-abled people of different states for the last 39

years. In this series, Narayan Seva had organized a free Narayan Limb

Measurement Camp on  7, April at the Vishwanad Convention, Port Stadium. . In

which more than 500 patients had given their measurements. Out of which, 350

people were those who had become victims of disability after losing their arms and

legs due to a road accident or some other accidents. While selecting them, sansthan

took measurements for Narayan limbs. 

Many social workers, including local MLAs, MPs and ministers, have been invited

for the inauguration and grandeur of the camp.

Director Gaur, while addressing the journalists said that the Sansthan’s Narayan

Limb is modular. It is manufactured with advanced technology. This limb will

prove to be durable, light in weight and convenient for the differently-abled. For

the first time in the city of Visakhapatnam, Sansthan will give the gift of new life

to more than 350 differently-abled people by making them wear Narayan Limb.

All these differently-abled people had become a burden on their families and

relatives due to their lives full of disability. The Sansthan is bringing them into the

mainstream of society by making them self-reliant. Sansthan will also arrange free

food for the differently-abled people coming to the camp. These people people will

be given systematic training for walking after the Narayan Limb Fitment. For this,

the 80-member team of the Sansthan will be ready to serve. Volunteers from

various organisations in Visakhapatnam will also provide services in the camp.

This camp of the Sansthan will run for the whole day. The camp aims to make the

selected differently-abled persons physically and mentally capable by providing

them with systematic limb fitting, training and motivation. Sansthan President

Prashant Agarwal will be present in this camp from Udaipur.


In this camp, more than 20 social service organizations including local

organization Seva Bharti (RSS) Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Gujarati Samaj, Marwari

Samaj, All India Marwari Samaj, Rajasthan Sanskrit Mandal, Kutch Kedia Patidar

Samaj, Marwari Yuva Manch, Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Kalyan Society, Lions

Club, Rotary Club, Agarwal Mahasabha, Mahavir International, Arohan Tribal

Society, Oriya (Utkal) Samaj, Gayatri Parivar, Sri Vishnu Seva Charitable Trust,

Ranger Force Charitable Trust, Vipra Foundation, Khandal Vipra Sabha, Ganesh

Puja Cultural Association, Sri Satya Sai Seva Samiti, Samridhi Foundation, Yuva

Bhartiya Prajwal Vani Kalyan Samaj, JCI Vizag Excellence, Vizag Volunteers

Association are associated. 

During this, Media and Public Relations Director Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, and

Visakhapatnam Branch Co-ordinator Raj kumar Sharma and Ashram Incharge
