THE 17th GRIHA SUMMIT

The 17th GRIHA Summit centred around the theme Innovate to Act for a Climate

Resilient World scheduled on 3rd – 4th November 2025 at the India Habitat Centre, New

Delhi is bringing together 50+ eminent speakers, 8+ technical sessions, and 3

curated exhibit pavilions to convert climate ambition into on-ground action across

India’s built environment and infrastructure systems.

Designed for policymakers, architects, engineers, urban practitioners, researchers,

product manufacturers, investors, and academia, the two-day convening focuses on

market mechanisms, policy frameworks, and scalable solutions for a secure,

inclusive, low-carbon transition that protects communities and economies from

escalating climate risks.

Plenary sessions spotlight resilient infrastructure planning, climate pedagogy to

equip the next generation, and public advocacy to translate awareness into measurable

impact across regions and sectors.

Four thematic tracks deep dive into issues that matters most- water security through

innovation, and resource optimisation; decarbonising construction via sustainable

materials and supply chains; urban air-quality mitigation through integrated policy,

planning, and technology; and circularity that turns waste into regenerative

opportunity for cities and industries. On the exhibition side, three exhibit pavilions

feature the best climate-responsive entries from the Nirmaan architectural design

competition, an industry advancement gallery of cutting-edge materials and

technologies, and a live, full-scale Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) model

to experience solar-active facades first-hand.
