Amazon launches all-new Echo Show 11 and fourth-gen Echo Show 8 in India

All-new Echo Show 11 and fourth-gen Echo Show 8 are built on Omnisense technology which enables automated routines based on presence, motion, and temperature detection.

The new smart displays come with an all new audio architecture featuring front-firing stereo speakers and custom woofers for room-filling spatial audio.

Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 feature full HD and HD resolution, respectively, and come with a new sleek design, edge-to-edge glass displays, and thin bezels.

India, 2026: Amazon today announced the launch of its all-new Echo Show 11 and fourth-generation Echo Show 8 smart displays with Alexa in India. The devices feature an all-new audio architecture and Omnisense custom sensor platform, along with a new design that includes edge-to-edge glass displays and thin bezels. These devices offer deep bass and crisp vocals, and simplified smart home routines using motion, presence, and temperature detection. Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 have maximised viewing area at 11 inches and 8.7 inches, respectively, compared to previous Echo Show smart displays in India. 

Through on-screen touch controls and hands-free voice commands to Alexa, Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 help customers control compatible smart home devices, set smart home routines, enjoy audio-visual content from compatible apps, and navigate daily tasks like managing calendars and shopping lists, and asking for recipes.

Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 are powered by AZ3 Pro, a custom-designed silicon chip enabling fast performance. Built on top of this silicon is Omnisense, a custom sensor platform designed for ambient AI. It uses a range of sensors and signals, including the 13-megapixel (MP) camera, audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi CSI to deliver personalised, proactive, and helpful Alexa experiences. 

This enables automated responses like adjusting compatible smart lights when someone enters a room or triggering temperature-based routines when the room reaches a certain temperature. Customers can set up smart home routines through the Alexa app.
