GE Renewable Energy's LM Wind Power Produces 44,444 th wind turbine blade in India

India, 2021: GE Renewable Energy announced today it has produced its 44,444th wind turbine blade at LM Wind Power’s wind turbine blade manufacturing sites in India. These blades have been manufactured in the two factories located near Bangalore, Karnataka and in Vadodara, Gujarat. Phani Gujjari, Head of Operations for LM Wind Power in India said, “We know blades. From design, prototyping and testing, to manufacturing, maintenance and service. As the 44,444th blade rolled out of our India plants in June this year, we are focused on making next generation wind turbine blades for a greener world.” LM Wind Power’s operations in India began in 1994 in Hoskote near Bangalore with the production of 13.4-meter blades. Swachhta Pakhwada Program at Rural Police Office

  Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., (HPCL) conducted Swachhta Pakhwada Program at Visakha District Police Office (Rural) today (13.07.2021) as part of the on-going Swachhta Fortnight observed by the Oil PSU. The program was graced by Shri B.Krishna Rao, IPS, Supdt of Police Visakha District Pollice, Shri S.Appalanaidu, DSP, Special branch, and Shri N.Sanyasinaidu, CI, Special branch. Shri K Nagesh, General Manager I/c Human Resources, HPCL Visakhapatnam and other officers from HPCL participated in the program.   On this occasion, the Supdt. of Police administered ‘Swachhta Pledge’ to all his officers and staff. National Tourism Awards for the year 2018-19

The Union Ministry of Tourism has invited applications from individuals and organisations for excellence in the field of tourism. According to the release, applications have to be made in proper forms, wherever specified. Unless otherwise mentioned, the entries for the award should have been published or the activities undertaken during the period April 2018 to March 2019. The last date for receipt of entries in the respective divisions is 10th August 2021 (1600 Hrs.) and entries should be sent as hard copies and strictly in the formats where specified.    The details and guidelines for National Tourism Awards for the year 2018-19 are given on the website of the Ministry of Tourism.
